Seattle’s Eritrean & Ethiopian Restaurant, Deli, & Sweet Shop

Hello Habesha Cafe
Goodbye Amy’s Merkato
A New Name Has Old Roots!
When we purchased a Madrona Ethiopian market from Amy back 2000, we had no plans to later become a restaurant in Hillman City! Life’s changes are best embraced.
Always our first priority is to our customers—and the best way to serve our customers is to be an Eritrean and Ethiopian restaurant. This is what’s in our hearts. Our new name is our way to share our culture with this wonderful city that has embraced us.
Thank you for being with us these past 22 years—and now into to the future.
